More than 80,000 people have signed the petition demanding a sequel Days Gone II to Action-Adventure Survivor Horror Game developed by Bend Studios.
The petition which can be found on – change.org – was started shortly after rumored claims that a Sequel pitched had been rejected by Sony Management due to prolonged development period of the Original Game.
“There’s millions of people who want Sony PlayStation to approve Days Gone II. I want all the fans to sign this petition” – petition organizer said – who has so far secured 82,000 Signatures.
“They can’t just pull the plug on such an amazing game that ended with a cliff hanger.”
In just a couple weeks, the petition has picked up significant momentum and now hopes to collect 150,000 Petitions as proof that fans will support a Sequel.
Days Gone Lead Designer Eric Jensen has thanked fans for playing Bend Studio’s Days Gone no matter how much money they have spent on it.
The petition even caught the attention of the Game’s Director, Jeff Ross, expressing delight that it was becoming one of the top petitions across the whole site and urged people to get on board and start signing.
This is not the first time fans have started a petitions in order to encourage studios and publishers to make more content. Couple of Months ago, Red Dead Redemption Fans started one in the hopes of getting some new single-player DLC for RDR2.
Days Gone is available now on PS4 and releases on May 18,2021 for PC.
