The Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart State of Play presentation was packed with over 15 Minutes of Gameplay. Also, a confirmation of fully featured photo mode and expansive accessibility options.
The Gameplay begins with Ratchet searching for his partner/pal Clank. Stepping the roads of an odd Dystopian City where Nefarious is definitely not a clumsy goober of a villain. His meeting with a weapons dealer, who thinks he is a member of “The Resistance”, is interrupted by Rivet, a new Protagonist with Clank strapped to her back.
Most of the gameplay was focused on showing off new combat options by both Ratchet & Rivet. A new dash move allows you to dodge enemy attacks, special structures allow you to wall run, and grapple points help you traverse gaps. So, when you plan to play the game, there is definitely Marvel Spider-man’s vibes in it.
The Trailer ends with a quick look at new features, expanded accessibility options, an open world to explore, and amazing photo modes. Insomniac Games is also teasing that the loading times in pre-release footage are fast, then we should wait until June to experience as they will probably be more faster.
