It seems we got our first look at Battlefield 6 a little early, as first images of DICE’s upcoming shooter have leaked ahead of reveal.
Both images seem to have captured from a low-res Battlefield 6 trailer, one looks like a cinematic frame and the other looks like a gameplay reveal and the in-game HUD. Notably, the screen suggests that DICE is taking Battlefield to a more modern, possibly near-future, setting with the next entry in the game. Below are the leaked images of Battlefield 6, upscaled by a Twitter user Sian.
Lastly, it’s always better to take these leaks with a grain of salt, but Tom Henderson later confirmed that these leaks are real. “I’m not going to RT or share for obvious reasons… But yes, the 2 BATTLEFIELD images that have been leaked in the past hour are real.” wrote on Twitter.
It is said that Battlefield 6 will take place around 10 years from today, meaning it would the series from the WW2 Battlefield V setting, all the way to 2030s. EA had already confirmed the next Battlefield will release in Holiday 2021, promising full reveal soon.
