The multiverse coming to the Marvel Cinematic Universe seems guaranteed with Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness coming. The bigger question is, is the multiverse coming to Spider-man: No Way Home or not? And If it is coming, will we see other Spider-man reprises their roles as well?
Andrew Garfield has shot down the rumors of him reprising his role from The Amazing Spider-man. And now, Emma Stone who played Gwen Stacy opposite Andrew’s Peter Parker, said that Marvel hasn’t been in contact with her about Spider-man: No Way Home.
“I have heard those rumors. I don’t know if I’m supposed to say anything, but I’m not [involved],” she told MTV News. She then mouthed the words “I’m not” and added: “I don’t know what you’re supposed to respond as an alumnus.”
Many reports in the past have indicated that Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Durst, and Andrew Garfield will all return for Spider-man: No Way Home. We do know now, Alfred Molina’s character Doctor Octopus in Spider-man: NWH. Having played the character in Maguire’s Spider-man 2, the actor now has kind of aged. Marvel might as well be using de-aging technology to make him look young. Jamie’s Foxx’s Electro from The Amazing Spider-man 2, is also back, he even confirmed it on a now-deleted Instagram post.
Spider-man: No Way Home is scheduled to release on December 17, 2021
