Spider-Man No Way Home Official Teaser Trailer is finally here. And it’s finally worth the wait.
Sony revealed the teaser as part of its CinemaCon presentation on August 23. But the trailer got leak the previous day, which pressurized Sony into releasing the trailer. The leak we all saw, was so blurry, barely visible. But, that leak was nothing in comparison to the official trailer release. It’s F****NG awesome. You can watch the trailer below if you haven’t:
Now, we do know that the film picks up immediately where it left in the post-credits scene. Peter’s Identity has been blown by Mysterio by framing him as the reason for his death. Peter obviously tries to convince the cops in interrogation that he didn’t kill him it was the drones. But no one believes him. So, Peter now seeks help, to help him erasing Mysterio’s announcement.
So, Peter goes to the Master of the Mystic Arts, Doctor Strange for help. Peter asks Strange, to do a spell where people will forget that he is Spider-Man. Wong warns Strange to not do the spell as it’s very dangerous. To which, Strange didn’t listen to Wong and winked at Peter and then headed to do the spell. While doing the spell, Peter requests Strange can’t some people know like Ned, MJ, and Aunt May. To which Strange replied, “That’s not how the spell works.”
Well, you know Tom’s Peter, constantly asking questions, and Strange starts to somewhat get irritated and says, “Stop Tampering with the spell”. Then, Peter asks the same question we would have asked too, “What just happened?”, Strange says, “We tampered with the stability of space-time, The multiverse is a concept about which we know frighteningly little.”
The action shots we saw, most of them include the two sparring; once on a New York street, where Strange knocks Parker “out” of Spider-Man and again on top of a speeding train.
“Be careful what you wish for, Peter”, Doctor Strange cautions as Peter realizes the enormity of his desire. But, it’s too late to realize because guess what, we got the biggest reveal of the summer, Alfred Molina as Doc Ock or Doctor Octopus. A role he originally played in 2004’s Spider-Man 2, in which Tobey Maguire played Peter Parker.
While we didn’t get to see Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield’s Spider-man, both have been rumored to appear in the final trailers. We do know that William Dafoe’s Green Goblin, Jamie’s Foxx Electro, and Alfred Molina’s Doc Ock, are definitely making the appearance. With a rumor that William Dafoe Green Goblin will be the main villain of the movie.
Spider-Man No Way Home hits theater on December 17th, 2021, exclusively for theaters.
