Capcom set up a new Resident Evil teaser site to showcase a month apparently packed with announcements for the horror franchise.

The website was highlighted by gaming sleuth Nibel, and while it is in Japanese, fans can parse a bit from it as well. It got nine slots for October reveals, out of which two are already done, one is a bunch of gift swag and the other is details on Resident Evil 4 VR. The next three are scheduled for October 21st, and the other two are set for October 22nd, with another on Monday, October 25th, and the last on Friday, October 29th.

Resident Evil 4 VR is still set to launch on Oculus Quest on 21st October. We might see more news around the latest version of Resident Evil’s most-ported entry next week. However, for the remaining 7 slots, the announcements might be small, so it’s better not to keep high expectations.

Capcom has been very quiet regarding the Resident Evil series. Rumor has it that Resident Evil 9 is already in development for 2 years and it could make the longest development journey of any game in the series. Guess, we should keep our expectations for this Capcom event.
